WE ARE BOARD HOUSE

Hi! We are stoked you are here and looking forward to sharing more of our story and having you as part of the Board House Society community. Founded in 2024, Board House Society, is a registered non profit, community skate project here in Central Oregon. Board House Society exists to empower everyone through skateboarding, creative expression, and community. Based on a foundation of skateboarding, we work to foster inclusion, acceptance, resilience and community through skate related entities such as skateboarding itself, art, film, competition and other creative endeavors.

  • Thank You for an Incredible Experience!

    I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the amazing opportunity my class had connecting with Board House Society. During our storyline, The World-Wide Surf Tour, they truly brought our lessons about waves, energy, and motion to life on the skateboard. The all-school assembly was fantastic, and the collaboration with teachers to teach the kids how to skate was invaluable. Many of my students had never skated before, but by the end of day two, even the most reluctant were leaving with huge smiles on their faces. The instructors took the time to walk the kids through the basics, emphasizing safety and the joy of simply having fun. It was heartwarming to see my students fall in love with skateboarding, leaving with a sense of accomplishment, confidence, and joy. I can't wait to welcome them back in the fall!

    Board House’s mission is to provide a safe space for anyone in the skateboard, art and music community to come together and do whatever it is that we love to do with others that share the same passion.
